To apply for a work visa, the traveler and their family members must present themselves in person at the Embassy in Berlin or the Consulate General in Munich so that the biometric data can be recorded.

Ramadan begins on 27.5.2017 and is expected to end on 26.6.2017. The embassies of the Islamic states are working shortened during this time and the processing time for issuing visas could be delayed.
After Ramadan, some embassies also close for a few days.
