The Cypriot government informs:
Based on the development of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Cypriot government has categorized countries in a list, reviews it regularly and adjusts the categorization
if necessary.
Germany is currently in category A and travelers from Germany are therefore generally not subject to any restrictions. Upon arrival in Cyprus, temperature measurements are to be expected, and random Covid-19 tests may be carried out on travelers. In addition, a Covid-19 test is carried out on individual, selected flights of all passengers on arrival. This also applies if a negative test result was presented on entry.
In addition, travelers must register online before departure to obtain a Cyprus Flight Pass Cyprus Flight Pass. For this purpose, a questionnaire must be completed online and a far-reaching waiver of liability towards the Republic of Cyprus in relation to a COVID-19 disease must be declared. The ‚Flight Pass‘ must be printed out and carried on the flight. Only people over the age of 65 may complete the questionnaire by hand; it will be made available at the flight counter.
Entries to the northern part of the island not under the effective control of the government of the Republic of Cyprus („Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus TRNZ“) are to be possible again from 1 July 2020 for travelers from certain countries, including Germany, whereby travelers must prove a negative COVID-19 test, which must not be older than 72 hours.
